I was really loving this piece until I got to the 'post-COVID' bit, which felt like a gut punch to be honest. The parallels and links between climate denialism and covid denialism are SO strong and the ways to fight them are so interlinked, so it breaks my actual heart that people as thoughtful, kind, community-oriented, and educated as you have been led into engaging with one whilst railing against the other. All forms of justice are interconnected and we cannot have a climate justice that leaves the 1.1 billion disabled humans behind.
you’re so right jessica!!!! i’ve moved toward using “post-lockdown” when trying to articulate the impacts of the 2020-2021 era, but clearly i’m new to it, since i missed my own inclusion of a term i’m trying to move away from in this piece! thanks for catching and sharing how it landed for ya, going in and correcting now❤️

I'm so so grateful that you took my criticism in good faith and responded the way you did. That's a great language shift and I'm so pleased you changed it.
